The Free Legal Aid for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Georgia 2015

The Free Legal Aid for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Georgia project is funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and builds on the similar project previously implemented by the LAG Consortium in partnership with UNHCR in 2014. The overall goal of the project is to Facilitate Access to Durable Solutions for IDPs which is to be achieved through: 1) Ensuring access to free-of-charge legal aid and counselling and 2) Improving management of shared and common property of IDPs. The project includes the following components: information dissemination, legal counselling and assistance, mobilization and capacity building and advocacy and lobbing.
