On May 20th, 2019, Consortium Legal Aid Georgia (LAG) hosted Mr. Christian Lamarre, Senior Programme Management Officer, from the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF). This was a monitoring visit organized in the framework of the "Foster Democracy through Electoral Participation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Georgia" project funded by UNDEF. The project aims at to increase awareness of electoral processes and to create an informed type of participation for IDPs in Georgia.
During the meeting Mr. Lamarre was briefed on the current progress of the project. Later on, the field visit to Shavshvebi IDP settlement in Shida Kartli was organized where improvised workshop with IDPs took place.
