On 14th and 21st July, 2017, Consortium Legal Aid Georgia (LAG) organized two workshops with State Legal Aid Service (LAS) in Kutaisi and Zugdidi. During the workshops the practitioner lawyers from both agencies exchanged information and experience of working on legal cases of internally displaced persons (IDPs). The topics discussed mainly related to the court practice on IDP status and resettlement issues, the work of resettlement commission, amendments to order #320, etc. The workshops were organized in the framework on “Free Legal Aid for IDPs in Georgia” project funded by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
