On September 15, 2017, the Consortium Legal Aid Georgia (LAG) facilitated the third meeting of the working group composed of the local community based and civil society organizations that are working on IDP issues in Imereti region and Senaki.

During the meeting the participants presented updated information on implementation of the advocacy campaign action plan. Moreover, they referred and solved those challenges that have emerged in the process. By the end of the meeting, the working group reflected the relevant changes in the guiding document.

The meeting was held in the framework of the “Towards the Fairer Society” project which is implemented by LAG together with Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and Charity Humanitarian Center “Abkhazeti” (CHCA) in several regions of Georgia. The goal of the project is to capacitate local CBOs and NGOs working on IDP issues so that they can advocate for their rights. The project is funded by Civil Society Development Fund (CISU).

On September 14, 2017, the Consortium Legal Aid Georgia (LAG) facilitated the second meeting of the working group composed of the local community based and civil society organizations that are working on IDP issues in Samegrelo region.

During the meeting the participants have worked on the working group’s Terms of Reference (ToR) and a detailed action plan for the advocacy campaign.

The meeting was held in the framework of the“Towards the Fairer Society” project which is implemented by LAG together with Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and Charity Humanitarian Center “Abkhazeti” (CHCA) in several regions of Georgia. September 6, 2017, LAG Consortium organized a meeting in Zugdidi Techno-Park with IDP focused community-based organizations (CBOs) and non-governmental (NGOs) organizations operating in Samegrelo and Adjara regions. Meeting was organized in Technopark Zugdidi branch. 
The purpose of the meeting was to identify the common issues for advocacy campaign, to form a respective working group and to plan the future activities of the latter. Selection of the issue as well as composition of the group was done via hidden balloting, preserving principles of transparency and based on the active participation of the participants.
The meeting was held in the scope of the “Towards a Fairer Society” project implemented in several regions of Georgia together with Danish Refugee Council and Charity Humanitarian Center “Abkhazeti”. The goal of the project is to capacitate local CBOs and NGOs working on IDP issues so that they can effectively advocate for IDP’s rights. The project is funded by Civil Society Development Fund (CISU).

On 23rd of August 2017, representatives of LAG Consortium in the framework of project “Towards the Fairer Society” held a meeting with local IDP focused CBOs and NGOs in the Center of Civic Engagement in Kutaisi.
