In April 2017 the Consortium Legal Aid Georgia (LAG) successfully completed the “Legal Protection for Displaced in Georgia 2014-2017” project implemented with financial support from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NMFA).

The Legal Protection for Displaced in Georgia 2014-2017 project is funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NMFA) and aims to increase the awareness of displaced communities (IDPs and refugees) concerning the government of Georgia’s (GoG) policies, to improve their access to legal rights and entitlements and to increase their ability to exercise those rights for achieving durable solutions. Three years project intervention entails: provision of information on changing governmental policies and procedures, legal counseling and assistance, capacity building of beneficiary communities and advocacy.
